Bear Creek Gardens- Bear Creek is the home of Jackson and Perkins Roses and also responsible for many of the Proven Winners. Blooming Nursery- Not a New Jersey grower, I added this Oregon Nursery so you could get an idea what a liner nursery looked like. This is how many of the shrubs and perennials start out. The Flower Fields at Carlsbad- This is the home to the Eckes ranch which has developed a number of new poinsettia cultivars. There is also a good deal of information on other flowering plants like New Guinea Impatiens, Verbenas, and bacopa. Langeveld Bulb Company- This Holland Bulb company has an area with bulb descriptions. View- Not a NJ grower but the Proven Winner line of annuals have done so well in our state that this site can not be missed. Many allow earlier planting than other annuals. Most are extremely easy to grow in ground or in containers. All are strong performers. Have joined with Spring Meadow Nursery in marketing a line of flowering shrubs that are excellent performers and ProvenWinners.
